Introduction

Dead Load Hardness Tester - H14The Cogenix Dead Load Hardness tester, Model H14, is a digital, fully automatic bench mounted instrument which is designed to conform to international standards for testing rubber and elastomers. Simply press the start button and the H14 will function automatically allowing accurate and repeatable results to be recorded.

Four models of the H14 are offered: H14/1, the basic model; H14/2, printer model; H14/3, data input terminal and printer model, and H14/4, with Windows compatible software.
Wallace Data Collection Software (DCS) is offered with the H14/4. This advanced Windows based software package controls the instrument and allows data to be exported to most commercial spreadsheets, word processors and databases. Saving hours of tedious data entry, DCS is the quick route to the paperless laboratory and secure, fully traceable data. Included in the powerful statistics package, is a Graphical Report Generator, displaying test results in line, point or bar format. Menu options include Mean, Max/Min and Standard Deviation.

H14/1 Dead Load Hardness Tester, Basic Model

Features for all models

The H 14 Dead Load Hardness Tester is available in four different models. The design, the result of considerable consultation with customers, is robust and constructed from aluminium castings which with anti- vibration feet results in exceptional stability.

A major feature of the design is the ease of access in the sample area. A range of Quick Change Tables has been designed to locate different sample cross sections or to locate special jigs and fixtures.

After pressing the start button the Dead Load Hardness Tester operates completely automatically including primary and secondary load application. The result is held on the display at the conclusion of each test.

All versions conform to many National and International Standards.

H14/2 Printer Model

Additional Features

The H12/2 Printer model of the Micro Hardness Tester is supplied with a high speed 24 character printer.
Hard copy of results can be retained and sample identification with incrementing suffix can be enabled through the printer as well as date and time recording.

The printer is supplied with a rechargeable battery and charger/ mains converter.

Additional diagnostic features are also available with this version.

Printer output is available in different languages.

H14/3 Data Input Terminal and Printer Mode

Additional Features

Supplied with a small Data Input Terminal incorporating a 16 character 2 line dot matrix display and high speed printer, this version allows data entry and password protection primary / secondary load duration.
Other attractive features offered on this version include operator identification, customer calibration check and enhanced print modes.

The printer allows hard copy results to be retained for further use.

The combination of Data Input Terminal and Compact Printer is ideal for the user wanting to change parameters such as Test Duration, Operator Identification and Sample Number.

Printed reports are available in either short or enhanced formats.

H14/4 PC Controlled Model

Additional Features

The H14/4 is supplied with Data Lead and software for PC operation. Developed by Wallace it offers a flexible package for controlling the instrument and data which can be exported to most spreadsheets, word processors and databases.

Password protection is included to eliminate unauthorized changes of test parameters. Full sample and operator data fields are available plus gates with flagged data reporting. A note section for each sample and a report section for each file are important features of this powerful software.

A simple but powerful Graphical Report Generator is included with the software. Graphical presentation is available in line, point or bar form and includes an Auto or Manual Scaling function. Data can be analysed from the following menu options: Mean, Minimum/Maximum, and Standard Deviation.
